Design Features and Benefits:
• Extruded aluminum body for added strength
• One-piece forged steel anti-blowout pinion and bearings
• Special preloaded springs:
 
A) Spring return models can be disassembled without danger
  Note: Actuators cannot be disassembled when they are under pressure
B) The use of multiple springs allows efficient sizing of spring return models
• Same body and end caps for double acting and spring return models. Double acting actuator can be easily converted to spring return models by adding pre-loaded springs. Similarly, spring return models can be converted to double acting by removing the preloaded springs.
• Internal lapped surfaces of body assures low coefficient of friction for long cycle life and maximum efficiency.
•

Pistons with "O" ring bearings and wear pads eliminate metal to metal contact.
• Unique travel stop adjustments of 4 degrees allow to properly align valves in the open and close position.

Operation
Double-Acting (Top View)
Air supplied to Port A forces pistons apart and toward end positions with exhaust air exiting at Port B Air supplied to Port B forces pistons toward center with exhaust air exiting at Port A
Spring Return (Top View)
Air supplied to Port A forces pistons apart and toward end position, compressing springs. Exhaust air exits at Port B Air or electric failure allows springs to force pistons toward center position with exhaust air exiting at Port A
Technical Data
• Acceptable operating media: dry or lubricated air, non corrosive gases, and light hydraulic oil.
• Air supply pressure: 40PSI min. to 150PSI max.
• Temperature range: -4F to 175F degrees.
• Angle of rotation: 90 degrees.
• External protection: suitable for indoor and outdoor installations.
• Lubrication: Lubricated for the life of the actuator under normal working conditions.
Quality Control
• Each Actuator is factory inspected and tested.
• Each actuator is provided with a serial number.
• Each model has been factory tested at 2 million cycles.
